Season End Party -

The Ravens celebrated the end of the season with a team party at the Gaven’s home in Rockaway.  The girls and parents had a great time swimming, eating and soaking up all the chuckles offered by head coach Mike “Conan” Fulton.  There was plenty to celebrate, as the team had just ended their season undefeated and were looking for some well earned time off.  However, before you know it, the bell will sound for Fall 07 season as U-14!! (can you believe it!!).  All of the girls have been notified that they have earned a roster spot for the fall.  However, we are sad to hear that Erin Gaven has elected to pursue other activities, that we no doubt know that she will excel and be super successful.  Good Luck Erin … and everyone have a great summer!  “And try to keep in shape!!!”  And a special thanks to the Gavens for being such gracious hosts!

Check out all of the activities, and make sure to catch up on the Most Improved Player award!

Most Improved Player (MIP - Spring 07) -

Jordan Valori is the recipient of the Ravens’ 2007 spring season Most Improved Player award.  Jordan’s signature mark has always been her speed and tenacity that she brought to every game.  However, during the fall and spring seasons, Jordan added some great ball control and dribbling skills to her game, and without a doubt strengthened the midfield of the Ravens from her normal stopper position.  Jordan is a tough defender, and on occasion, her excellent positioning allows her to add support to the offense.  She has the ability to be the on field marshal for the team, as she always seems to come up big, in big situations, which usually means going up against the opponents’ strongest offensive players.  Congratulations Jordan!
