The Ravens celebrated their season end at the Ocean Tourney on Saturday night. A great time was had by all. Thanks to all of the parents for their generosity and to those who organized this special evening. All of the girls received a specially framed "
Champions" picture from their Randolph Memorial Day victory, and a
stuffed Soccer Bear, for all of their 2006 Spring Season teammates and coaches to sign.

Congratulations to Katie Astrella, recipient of the Ravens’ Spring 06 Season Most Improved Player Award. Katie started making her mark in the fall season, when she evolved into a steady performer as an outside back. She quickly made great strides in understanding the game, her game preparation, and most importantly her dedication to developing her personal skills and work rate. Katie continued honing her skills during the winter season, and even participated in additional training offered by the PSC. During the spring is when Katie’s game really came on! She was a consistent performer on the back line, and played in the midfield as well. Again, she participated in extra training during the season which offered her significant additional touches on the ball. Katie’s attitude and love of the game has helped her achieve this notable award. When a high level of determination is matched with all of the other positive attributes that Katie has, only an excellent result is the outcome!
