How do I apply for the Pride?
Applications can only be submitted from our web site at www.parsippanysoccerclub.org.

How do I pay the tournament fees?
Registration fees can be paid by credit card upon completing the online application.  Payment can also be made by check that should be sent to Pride Tournament, %PSC, Po Box 212, Parsippany, NJ 07054.

If our Club has several teams participating can we pay with 1 check?
We prefer Club’s sending several teams payment with 1 check.

If a team is not accepted, will we receive our application fee refunded?
Yes; any team not accepted will have their registration fee refunded.

If our team is accepted and we cannot participate, will we receive a tournament refund?
No; once a team is accepted and they cannot participate a refund is not returned

Can we bring guest or secondary players?
NO, THE PRIDE DOES NOT ACCEPT GUEST OR SECONDARY PLAYERS. 
PLAYERS CAN ONLY BE CARDED TO 1 TEAM AND PLAY FOR 1 TEAM.

When will acceptances be emailed?
Acceptance emails will be sent the week of Sept 14th.

When are flights posted?
Flighting will be posted week of Sept 21st.

When are schedules posted?
Schedules will be posted by Friday, October 2nd.

When is registration?
All teams must register Friday night at the Sheraton Parsippany between 6-9PM.

Can I register Saturday?
We prefer all teams register Friday night due to the size of the tournament.  If you are coming from a far distance, a written request by email to pscpride@yahoo.com can be made to register Saturday morning at Smith Field Headquarters (trailer behind Field 1).

What do I need to bring to registration?

  1. Player passes (USYSA - state pass or US Club), 
  2. Copy of team roster – State or US Club roster - WE WILL NEED TO KEEP A COPY
  3. Medical release forms – We will need to see each player’s medical release form that was required to card your team   (ONLY NJYSA MUST HAVE FORM NOTARIZED)
  4. Emergency contact form (download from web site)

Where do small sided teams pick up their participation gift?
They can be picked up Friday night at registration.

Does my team have to play Friday night?
No, only local teams or teams that requested a match Friday night will play.

What time does the first match begin on Saturday and Sunday?
Tournament play begins at 7:45 AM on Saturday and Sunday mornings.

Are there any matches on Monday?
No, the tournament is over Sunday.

If I have a match Friday night, where do I register?
All teams playing Friday night can register at the field site 45 minutes before the start of the match.

Can we purchase tournament shirts by pre-order?
Yes there is a form on the web site for tournament shirts at a discounted price.  Pre-orders can be picked up at Friday night registration.

Is this a patch tournament?
Yes, all teams should exchange Club patches after every match.

How many players are allowed on the field for small and large sided teams?
Small-Sided (U8-U10) is 8 v 8 (7 field players plus goalie)  ONLY 14 PLAYERS CAN BE ROSTERED PER MATCH
Large-Sided (U11-U14) is 11 v 11 (10 field players plus goalie)  ONLY 18 PLAYERS CAN BE ROSTERED PER MATCH

We are from out of the area how can we find a hotel?
Host hotels are listed on the web site.

Where can we find directions to field sites?
All directions are posted on the tournament web site.

Does my team need to check in before every match?
Yes; there will be a field marshal (orange vest) at each site and teams need to check in 30 min prior to their match with their player passes.

Our coach/trainer works with multiple teams.  Can we request separate match times?
An email can be sent to pscpride@yahoo.com requesting teams not to play at the same time but due to the size of the tournament, requests may not be able to be fulfilled  Please make arrangements for an alternate coach.

Where are scores posted?
Scores are posted at Smith Field Headquarters by the trailer (behind Field 1).

Are scores posted for small sided teams?
No, NJYSA does not allow scores or standings posted for U8-U10.

Is there a championship match for large sided teams?
Yes; all teams winning their flight will meet Sunday afternoon in the final match.

Where are trophies presented?
Trophy presentation is at Smith Field in the Winners Circle by the trailer.  First and second place teams receive their awards immediately following their match.  After the championship match, please have all players go to Smith Field to receive their award.
