The Central Middle School Girls team captured the Morris County Middle School Championship on Saturday. Congratulations to the Girls.

At the annual Dinner Dance held at the Sheraton Parsippany, the Outstanding Service Award was given to John Johansen for his significant contributions to the club over the years. Continuous Service Awards were given to Sandra Neglia, Peter Petrou, Frank Riley and Arlene Zalewski. President's Awards were given to Mayor Mimi Letts, Scott Donalds, Gene Listwan, Ed and Diane Likman and Joe Barbieri.

The Fall Awards Ceremony for Travel teams finishing at the top (1'st place) in their Flights was held on Tuesday December 6, 2005 at Brooklawn Middle School. Congratulations to the following teams, coaches, and parents for their first place finishes in the Fall season. Morris County Youth Soccer Association: U10 Girls Lightning and U10 Boys Celtic United. Mid NJ Youth Soccer Association: U11 Girls Diamonds and U12 Girls Ravens.

 

 

The Coaches' Awards for Dedication and Achievement in Soccer were handed out recently and congratulations go to:

Central - Courtney Ford and Daniel Gaffney; Brooklawn - Dan Riley, Samantha Bluj and Sarah Molloy,

PHS - Jeff Cleary and Olivia Lezanski, and PHHS - Camille Malanka and Nitzan Shoshan.

The 2004 Annual Dinner Dance was held Saturday, November 6th at the Parsippany Sheraton.  An enjoyable evening was had by the 140 attendees which included Mayor Mimi Letts, Councilman Michael de Pierro and Jim Walsh, head of Parks and Forestry. 

 

John Johansen, chairman of the Awards Committee presented Diane Likman with the Outstanding Service Award for her contributions to our organization.  Werner Schwarzenbach, Glenn Centi, Guy Capozza and Bob Birth were also honored with the Continuous Service Award for their years of special service to the PSC.  Also recognized were Scott Donalds, Gary Zimmerman, Jack Ford and Augie DaCosta.  Each received a Presidential Award for their extraordinary contributions to the club.

THE PARSIPPANY GATORS PLAYED IN GIANTS STADIUM on 10/23/04…as the team was walking onto the field, a few of the players still could not believe they would actually be playing in Giant's Stadium. When we were walking through the tunnel, some of the kids were so ecstatic that they were jumping in joy! The coaches looked at each other, thinking “ what we are seeing on these kids' faces is priceless!”
