10/31/08 Update:

Happy Halloween. Please check the schedule to see what matches you are assigned for tomorrow and Sunday. Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled start time.

Earlier this afternoon I sent an email with the tournament rules and a referee sheet for review. Please take a look so you are familiar with both. Good luck in all of your matches tomorrow. If there are any issues, please call me as soon as possible at (201)919-2422.

10/30/08 Update:

Attention all Referees:

When I make mistakes I make them on a large scale. When I posted the last revision of the schedule, I entered some names incorrectly. For any confusion, I’ve caused I sincerely apologize. This should represent a current reflection of requests. There have been some changes and additional sign-ups. If you have ??? after a match, I’m hoping that you can fill these slots. Please let me know either way.

We still have many, many more to fill, especially on Sunday. If you know of any referees who have worked in the past that would be interested, please have them contact me and sign-up.

I’ve left messages for a couple of you on coverage for these matches. Please let me know if anyone can fill them.

Also, the 2008 Intramural Tournament is 11/1 and 11/2. I received the schedule this morning and just posted the it on the website for sign-ups. Please let me know what matches you can officiate. We’re going to try to have all D3 matches, regardless of where they are in the brackets, officiated by the adults and the oldest referees. Younger referees are welcome to be line judges. This is an EXCELLENT opportunity to learn and prepare yourself to officiate older divisions next season. You also get the opportunity to see us "old folks" actually work a match. ALL FINALS for D5, D4 and D3 will be refereed by adults but, again, we’d love to have you as a line judges for one or more of these matches.

I’m away on business all week and want to fill as many openings as possible this weekend.

Thank you all again very much for everything this season. It has been fun, exciting and a learning experience for me.

10/17/08 Update

Thank you to all who have signed up for this weekend’s matches. It looks like all of them are now covered The 10/20 through the end of the regular season schedule should be posted this evening.

10/13/08 Update:

I received the signed checks for payment on the September matches last evening. I will be at Veterans field tomorrow evening from 6:30 until 8:00. You are welcome to pick them up at that time. If this is not convenient, please call me or send me an email and we can make other arrangements to get it to you.

We still have several matches available for this weekend. Please check the schedule and let me know if you can fill any of the openings.

10/4/08 Update:

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Just a couple of notes that need attention:

The final (2) weeks of regular season matches should be posted Monday evening.
The payroll for September will be submitted at the board meeting on Tuesday evening. If you have not submitted via email the score for the matches you refereed during September, please get it to me no later than tomorrow evening. This is my "speak now or forever hold your peace" warning.
We have (2) open matches scheduled for tomorrow 10/5/08. If any of you can cover 1 or both of these matches, I’d appreciate it.
Due to a really silly mistake, I’ve lost the list of all of your individual phone numbers. Thankfully, I still have the email addresses. If all active and participating referees would be kind enough to send me an email with your phone number so I have a reference for the remainder of the season and a working file for 2009, I’d really appreciate it.
